TGGS scholarship is the private-public partnership between Thailand and Germany to support engineering , innovation, business development in Thailand and southeast Asia. This is the one of the prestigious scholarship for any International student to study in different countries.
This scholarship is the joint venture between German and Thai universities. The whole program is industry-oriented engineering, in which you will focus more towards industry and the whole education system for this program is adapted from German university, University of RWTH-Aachen University, the education model of this German university is one of the most successful in the world.
What TGGS Scholarship Offers?
TGGS Scholarship offers master and doctoral programs in different engineering disciplines. This is one of the best multicultural environments in order to support International students to develop soft skills as well as focus on developing International careers.
As industry-oriented education, the student will do research in different fields of engineering as well as developing projects which will serve industry. The University of RWTH-Aachen sends qualified professors to give lectures and seminars to students to learn industry perspectives.

The applicant has Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields, awarded international recognize university
Minimum GPA of 3.0 (or 2.5 plus adequate work or research experience)
The applicant must have good reading, writing and communication skills
The applicant must have submitted an English Test Score( IELTS, TOEFL)
The minimum IELTS score is 6.0
The minimum TOEFL score is 59
The IELTS and TOEFL score must not expire on the application deadline

Requirements
The applicant has Master’s degree in engineering or related fields, awarded international recognize university
Minimum GPA of 3.50 (or low plus adequate work or research experience)
The applicant must have good reading, writing and communication skills
The applicant must have submitted an English Test Score( IELTS, TOEFL)
The minimum IELTS score is 6.0
The minimum TOEFL score is 59
The IELTS and TOEFL score must not expire on the application deadline

Benefits
The applicants will be exempt from tuition fees.
The applicant will receive monthly allowance approx. 500 euros in Thailand and 900 euros in Germany.
The scholarship is in the form of grants, which will be received in the beginning of August each year.
The Grant will be more than enough to cover every expense.
Important Information
The scholarship covers the full tuition fees and monthly allowance rates for approximately 2 years. If the student/s is unable to graduate in the period, the student/s must be responsible for paying the student maintenance fees themselves.
RWTH Aachen University will reserve the right to revoke the scholarship agreement in case the scholarship award was based on false allegations of the grantee or if other relevant conditions should not be fulfilled any longer during the scholarship period. The interruption or withdrawal from the studies or violation of the guidelines might also lead to refunding the scholarship.
Application important dates
The application deadline for TGGS scholarship 2024 is 31 March.
Once the deadline is over , then the nominated candidates will be called for interviews.They will be informed 1-3 weeks after the deadline of the application.
The Nominated candidates will be informed after 1 week of the interview.
The registration for new student will start from 4-7 June 2024
The registration for coursework will start from 10-14 June 2024
